The Peregrine from Shearwater Research of Canada is an Advanced Nitrox dive computer with easy to understand menus and easy to read large full color display. The Peregrine includes open-circuit dive modes for Air, single gas Nitrox (up to 40%), and user selectable 3-gas Advanced Nitrox (up to 100% O2), as well as a richly featured gauge mode. During a decompression dive, the Peregrine provides complete information displays of all required stop times. The Peregrine can provide time-to-surface based on "look ahead" at planned gas switches and will NOT "lockout" after a missed stop or ascent rate violation. The Peregrine offers a large {2.2 in | 5.59 cm} screen display utilizing a low-power consumption, 320x240 QVGA, full color LCD display and brightness levels are user adjustable.
